FOOD. LEARNING HOW TO EAT WITH CHOPSTICKS

A FEW DAYS AGO  I cooked Chinese fried rice with eggs, ham, corn and peas for a small group of students from 1 ESO B.

Le Yi, one of the students in the class, showed us how to eat with chopsticks. 

Pedro was very interested in learning. 

And he  soon learned how to use the chopsticks. 

What about Hugo? 

Do you think he is using them properly?

The group followed Le Yi's  instructions  and practised before they got their food.

And they managed to  eat most of it.

                                         Etham was not very happy about the vegetables but he asked
                                         for some more  rice.

Ana loved it and had a second bowl.

Actividades de formación en lingua inglesa 2017

A Consellería de Educación convcoca axudas para realizar as actividades de formación, dirixidas á mellora das competencias en lingua inglesa do alumnado de distintos niveis dos centros docentes sustentados con fondos públicos en Galicia, durante o ano 2017.

O período de realización destas actividades comprenderá desde a última semana do mes de xuño ata finais do mes de agosto de 2017.

Requisitos:
a) Estar cursando 1º, 2º, 3º ou 4º de ESO ou 1º ou 2º de bacharelato, en centros sustentados con fondos públicos que impartan ensinanzas de réxime xeral, durante o curso 2016/17, na Comunidade Autónoma de Galicia.
b) Ter superadas todas as áreas ou materias no curso 2015/16.
c) Ter acadado no curso 2015/16 e na área ou materia de Lingua Inglesa, unha cualifi­cación mínima de «Ben» no 6º curso de educación primaria para o alumnado de 1º de edu­cación secundaria obrigatoria, e de 6 para o de 2º, 3º e 4º cursos de educación secundariaobrigatoria e de bacharelato.
d) Non ter concedida, no presente curso académico, outra axuda coa mesma finalidade.

A week ago in Angers, France, we saw the film "Tarde para la ira" which I had already seen and enjoyed in Spain. We had the opportunity to talk to Raúl Arévalo and wished him luck. 

Goya Awards: 'Fury of a Patient Man' Takes Top Prize as 'A Monster Calls' Nearly Sweeps With 9 Prizes

MADRID (AP) — Actor-turned-director Raul Arevalo's first film, "The Fury of a Patient Man," won best picture and he was honored for best directorial debut and best original screenplay at the 31st Spanish Film Academy's Goya Awards.

Arevalo, 37, shared the screenplay award Saturday night with David Pulido for co-writing the dark thriller.

While "Fury" took the biggest prize, Juan Antonio Bayona's "A Monster Calls" swept up nine awards, including best director for Bayona and many of the technical awards. The film, which stars Liam Neeson, Felicity Jones and Sigourney Weaver, tells the story of a troubled boy whose nightmares become very real.
