The Shoop Shoop Song

Does he love me? I want to know
How can I tell if he loves me so?

(Is it in his eyes?)
Oh, no you'll be decieved
(Is it in his eyes?)
Oh, no he'll make believe
If you want to know
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
If he loves you so
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
It's in his kiss
(That's where it is, oh yeah)

(Or is it in his face?)
Oh no, it's just his charms
(In his warm embrace?)
Oh no, that's just his arms
If you wanna know
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
If he loves you so
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
It's in his kiss
(That's where it is)
Oh, it's in his kiss
(That's where it is)

Whoa, hug him and squeeze him tight
Find out what you want to know
If it's love, if it really is
It's there, in his kiss

(How about the way he acts?)
Oh no, that's not the way
And you're not listening to all I say
And if you wanna know
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
If he loves you so
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
It's in his kiss
(That's where it is)
Oh oh oh, it's in his kiss
(That's where it is)

Whoa, hug him and squeeze him tight
Find out what you want to know
If it's love, if it really is
It's there in his kiss

(How about the way he acts?)
Oh no, that's not the way
And you're not listenin' to all I say
If you wanna know
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
If he loves you so
(Shoop, shoop, shoop, shoop)
It's in his kiss
(That's where it is)

Oh, It's in his kiss
(That's where it is)
Oh, yeah it's in his kiss
(It's in hiss kiss)
(That's where it is)
Ooh, it's in his kiss
(It's in hiss kiss)
That's where it is

It's in his kiss
(That's where it is)
Ooh, it's in his kiss
(That's where it is)
Ooh, oh it's in his kiss
Oh, oh, it's in the kiss
(That's where it is)

"Thinking Out Loud"

Can you split the text into sentences ? "Thinking Out Loud" When your legs don't work like they used to before And I can't sweep you off of your feet Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love? Will your eyes still smile from your cheeks? And, darling, I will be loving you 'til we're 70 And, baby, my heart could still fall as hard at 23 And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways Maybe just the touch of a hand Well, me—I fall in love with you every single day And I just wanna tell you I am So honey now Take me into your loving arms Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars Place your head on my beating heart I'm thinking out loud That maybe we found love right where we are When my hair's all but gone and my memory fades And the crowds don't remember my name When my hands don't play the strings the same way I know you will still love me the same 'Cause honey your soul could never grow old, it's evergreen And, baby, your smile's forever in my mind and memory I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways Maybe it's all part of a plan Well, I'll just keep on making the same mistakes Hoping that you'll understand But, baby, now Take me into your loving arms Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars Place your head on my beating heart Thinking out loud That maybe we found love right where we are So, baby, now Take me into your loving arms Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars Oh, darling, place your head on my beating heart I'm thinking out loud That maybe we found love right where we are Oh, baby, we found love right where we are And we found love right where we are

Man of Steel: Could x Managed to

 MODAL VERBS

IMPORTANT NOTES:

We use could to talk about an ability somebody had in the past.

We use managed to to talk about a specific event in the past.

Examples:

could swim when I was six.

Last Saturday evening was tough. I felt good because I was able to swim 6,500 meters.

He could speak French quite well.

He managed to speak French to the policeman to explain what had happened.

She could design beautiful outfits.

They managed to design a dress which pleased that customer immensely.

However, with verbs that refer to the five senses, see, hear, smell, feel, taste, and with verbs that refer to thought processes, understand, believe, remember, decide, we normally use could, even when we are talking about specific occasions.

       " Pros and cons"  essay.
1. Choose a topic you can write easily. Something that  requires only a small amount of research.

2. Write a list noting the advantages and disadvantages of your topic. Arrange them in the order you plan on writing them in your essay. Create a rough outline of your essay, including how many paragraphs you want and what you plan on writing for the conclusion.

3. Begin your essay by introducing your topic and explaining that you are exploring the advantages and disadvantages of this topic. You do not need a thesis because this is not a persuasive-paper. You aren't proving anything; you are simply giving information.

4 .Use transitions when writing your essay. Do not start every sentence with the words, one advantage or one disadvantage. Use words like despite, nevertheless, yet, however and although. Keep your advantages and disadvantages grouped together. Write one or two paragraphs for each. You can also need moreover, what's more, besides, furthermore, in addition to add new ideas to your essay.

5. Close your essay with the most important advantage and disadvantage.you don't need to include your opinion at the end. If you write this sort of essay correctly, you have informed the reader about the advantages and disadvantages without persuading them with your opinion. But you could also take part expressing your opinion.
