Irish friends

Last week we had the visit our our dear friends (19 students and 3 teachers) from Soil Mhuire in Ballingeary, a village is the county of Cork within a Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area).
They showed our students their school and village. They talked about their school system, the sports they play and their language, which as well our Galician is being spoken by less and less people despite the effort, in their case, of the Government to keep it alive.
Some students from Moaña joined them for lunch at the  beach and some were even brave enough to go for a swim in that cold, windy day.

We had displayed some photos from the exchanges between the two schools in the past.
