My angel is the title of a moving article published by The Guardian today about the sad story of a construction worker trapped in Delhi (India) unable to go back home to see his son, who was seriously ill. You may think we are all suffering the consequences of this pandemic disease, and we are, but as it always happens, it is a lot worse for those who have less.

Read the article paying attention to the use of the verb tenses. You will find almost all the possible forms of the present, past, and perfect tenses in context.  You do not need to understand all the words to grasp the meaning of the text. 

• Write down  one example of each of the tenses you have been revising in unit 1 and make sure you can understand and translate them.
• Write a short text (about 60 words) mentioning  your thoughts about any of the issues the journalist highlights in the article.

Watch this great video created by Seso Durán and his students (also lots of mine, who I love to see dancing and singing) to commemorate Galician Literature Day a few years ago.

 The video became so popular that the main singer was received like a star by young teenagers at OLLOBOI Festival that year. Jeremias was asked to take photos with his fans and sign autographs. It was great!

 As part of the activities of our three-year-Erasmus Project SAFTAS,  the students made this short video to show what the festival was like.

Revising routines and simple present

Watch these two videos of Mr Bean's routine in the morning and at lunch time. I guess your routine is different. What about  your family's? Choose a member of your family and write about his/her daily routine in about 60-80 words ( use linkers: then, later. after or before this/that. next... and adverbs of frecuency).
